Detroit Rock City

Maybe it was last week's Texas themed mix, but this week I've been listening to artists from the area of my birth (technically, I was born in St. Joseph), Detroit. Love the gritty of the city that brings these artists together in a way that only Detroit can do. They might not all have been born or raised there, but these are the singers and performers that shaped the scene.
  1. Hotel Yorba (The White Stripes)
  2. Lust For Life (Iggy Pop)
  3. Runaway (Del Shannon)
  4. 96 Tears (? and the Mysterians)
  5. Mustang Sally (Wilson Pickett)
  6. I Can't Help Myself (The Four Tops)
  7. Shop Around (The Miracles)
  8. See You Later Alligator (Bill Haley & the Comets)
  9. Dancing In The Street (Martha & the Vandellas)
  10. Just My Imagination (The Temptations)
  11. Inner City Blues (Marvin Gaye)
  12. Pastime Paradise (Stevie Wonder)
  13. My Name Is (Eminem)
  14. Cat Scratch Fever (Ted Nugent)
  15. Doggin' Around (Jackie Wilson)
  16. Stop! In The Name of Love (The Supremes)
  17. Midnight Train To Georgia (Gladys Knight & the Pips)
  18. Cherish (Madonna)
  19. Chain of Fools (Aretha Franklin)
  20. Closer To Home (Grand Funk Railroad)
